Our research firm is a structure specialized in archival research, analysis of historical sources, and their enhancement.
It is run by two historians specialising in contemporary France; one holds a PhD from the University, obtained in 2004, and the other a postgraduate diploma from EHESS, obtained in 2002. Their research, which is highly complementary, covers the period 1850–1950 and concerns, amongst other things, the following fields: genealogy, immigration, naturalisation, justice, policing, the military, etc. Authors of numerous articles published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, they have also published their work in conference proceedings and in collective or individual publications.
It is surrounded by a network of experts (archivists, genealogists, documentalists, iconographers, etc.) who intervene according to the specific requirements of the missions entrusted to us.
